My last post was in August '08, and the one before that was in February '07. It's 2010 now! This is madness. To tell you the truth, I'm delighted by how much DiaryLand hasn't changed. That damn "Gold!" banner up there still taunts me with its poor design as I type in this permanently periwinkle page!
It is a slightly odd sensation, though. This place truly feels like an old friend. Woefully neglected for other things in life, sure, but still a friend.
As can be expected with such a grand passing of time, life has changed so much! Believe me, I am nowhere near as somber as I used to sometimes be, and I am so thankful for that. While I'm not the most happy person alive, I'm way more at ease with the peculiarities of this damn universe. It didn't happen overnight, of course, it was tough work getting to this place. Experience shaped how I'm living right now, and Experience, she's still shaping. I'm still finding my footing, but yes ma'am, I will be fine.
So, I'm not sure how many of the people on my list still use this thing. How have you folks been? =)
